What we collect
- Player profile: a random player ID created on your device, the display name and avatar you choose, and an optional country.
- Google or Facebook sign-in (optional): you can play as a guest without any account. If you choose to sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive a sign-in token from that service, check it with Google or Meta, and keep only the account identifier they give us for War Blocker, so we can find your progress again. Your name from that service is used only as a starting display name when you have not picked one. We do not store your email address, profile photo, friends list or any other data from those services, and we never post on your behalf.
- Game data: match results, rating, level, coins and cosmetic items, so your progress can be restored and leaderboards can work. When you sign in with Google or Facebook, a cloud save of your progress (name, avatar, coins, items, level, achievements and stats) is kept so you can continue on another phone.
- Chat: text messages, emojis and quick phrases are relayed to the other players in your room. The last messages of a room are kept only while the room exists. Text is filtered for abusive words.
- Friends: your friend code, the War Blocker friends you add, pending requests and game challenges (challenges are removed about an hour after they expire). While the app is open it tells our server you are online so your friends can see a status dot and when you were last seen. Players you block cannot send you friend requests or challenges.
- Reports: when you report a player, we store the reason, your optional note, the room code and the last chat messages you saw, so the report can be reviewed.
- Gameplay analytics: when you play online or sign in, we record when your account was created and last active, how many sessions you start, how long the app is open while you are signed in, how long your online games last, which modes you play and which version you use (the Android app, our website, the CrazyGames version or the kids version). We also keep the two-letter country code that our hosting provider derives from your connection (never your IP address or precise location). We use this only as totals and averages to understand how War Blocker is played and to keep servers healthy, and we never sell it or use it for advertising.
- Moderation: reports, blocks and account actions (such as muting chat, resetting an inappropriate name or suspending an account) are reviewed by the War Blocker team, and a record of those actions is kept to keep games fair and safe.
- Voice: when you join voice chat, your microphone audio is relayed live to players in the same room. Voice is never recorded or stored.
- Wi-Fi play: Wi-Fi Party games run directly between phones on your local network and never reach our servers.
- Browser versions: in a web browser your progress is saved in that browser's storage on your device, and the browser versions do not send crash reports. When you play War Blocker on CrazyGames, CrazyGames runs the game page and its own software for ads, invites and game events, and handles that data under the CrazyGames privacy policy. War Blocker does not receive your CrazyGames account details.
- Purchases and ads: purchases are processed by Google Play. If ads are shown in the Android app, Google AdMob may use the advertising ID of your device as described in Google's policies. On CrazyGames, ads are shown only by CrazyGames. Our own website shows no third-party ads, and the kids version shows no ads at all.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, IP address history, photos, phone number or email address, and we do not sell personal data. Signing out on a phone keeps your cloud save so you can sign in again later.
Children
The Android app, our website and the CrazyGames version are not directed at children under 13. Text chat with strangers is off by default. A separate kids version of the browser game has no ads, no voice chat, no typed chat (only preset phrases and emojis), no matches with strangers, no leaderboards and no Google or Facebook sign-in, and shows other players only as Player 1, Player 2 and so on. The kids version still records a guest account id, the gameplay totals described above and the two-letter country code. It never uses an advertising ID, voice or sign-in.
Deleting your data
Delete your account inside the app from Profile › Delete account, or use the account deletion page. Your profile, progress, cloud save and any Google or Facebook sign-in link are removed within 30 days. You can also remove War Blocker from the apps connected to your Google or Facebook account at any time.
